football camp

FREE 2-day football camp for Chesapeake middle school students 

between the ages of 10 and 14.  


This football camp focuses on teaching fundamental football skills.


Offensive and defensive drills led by some of the area’s best football coaches and players. 


Celebrity athletes and mentors sharing success stories and advice.


Our Goal

 Students will learn fundamental football skills for the purpose of instilling within them a desire to succeed in life.


The Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office will bring caring volunteers to provide support, advice, friendship, reinforcement, and constructive life lessons. Some of the best football coaches and players from the area will be volunteering their time to work with the students.


Offering guidance, support, and encouragement aimed at developing the character of the student, the goal of this camp is to help our youth realize their bright potential.

What To Expect

Both days begin with stretching and agility. The majority of each day focuses on the fundamentals including both offensive and defensive drills. Day 1 will end with scrimmage football games and day 2 will end with a championship game. 


Lunch and beverages will be provided on both days.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Any Chesapeake student between the ages of 10-14 can attend.


    Yes, each child must have their own application submitted. 


    The camp begins at 9 am both mornings, however camp registration/ check-in starts at 8 am.


    A parent or guardian must be present to register/ check-in their child.


    Friday during registration, your child will receive a T-shirt to be worn on both days of camp. 


    We advise your child to wear athletic shorts and sneakers. 


    If possible, we recommend your child bring a water bottle (it doesn't have to be a reusable bottle, just one that can be refilled if needed). 


    Lunch and water will be provided. 


    The camp will take place rain or shine! 


    We recommend your child wear or bring sunscreen if necessary.  


    Absolutely! There will be an area for parents who wish to stay. 


    We encourage parents to attend the championship game on Saturday. 


    This camp requires no previous experience, play, or skills to attend.
